This Lolai village was actually found by chance, namely when the Tongkonan restoration was being tried. For the management of Lempe, Kampung Lolai just boomed near the early hours of 2016. At that time, during the restoration of Tongkonan, many photographers arrived and they uploaded pictures of Lolai's beauty. From there, Lolai's 'country above the cloud' tour began to be known to the public. Moreover, the paragliding team of Central Sulawesi Province made Lolai the position of paragliding. Since it's crowded, on average there are 2,000 foreign and domestic tourists who visit there.

Tourists who want to camp can also rent tents for a fairly cheap fee, starting from IDR 50 thousand per night for small dimensions and IDR 80 thousand per night for large sizes.

For some sources, to be able to visit Puncak Lolai, tourists will be charged an entrance ticket at a price of Rp. 15 thousand per person. However, other sources say, tourists will only be charged a vehicle parking fee with a sincere or voluntary fee by the Tongkonan owners.

For those who want to enjoy the night at Puncak Lolai, as stated above, they can rent a tent provided by the Tongkonan house owner for a fee starting from IDR 50 thousand per night. Not only that, some Tongkonan owners also rent out their homes (homestays) as a place to stay at a fairly affordable rate.
